GENERAL INFORMATION

Operational Areas

ERSHA is a local NGO operating in three regions of Ethiopia at four different locations.

Target Community

Currently ERSHA is serving over 250,000 marginalized people (men, women, older persons, children and the youth) living in the rural area.

Development Activities

Different development activities are undertaken by ERSHA with the assistance and support of partner organizations and agencies to alleviate the problems of the community. Among the major program activities some are:

•   Food Security,

•   Water,

•   Health,

•   Animal Husbandry,

•   Afforestation,

•   Soil and Water Conservation, etc.

Cross cutting themes:

ERSHA has developed a five years strategic development program with emphasis on gender sensitive projects and focused on poverty reduction and in areas that would avert the problem of the HIV/AIDS disease.
